Top bantamweight contender Fabricio Andrade will have to wait a little longer to get his hands on a world title following the no-contest ruling at ONE on Prime Video 3. However, he's more than willing to rematch John Lineker for supremacy.

Considering the inconclusive outcome of their bout, many are wondering whether or not the pair will run it back. According to Andrade, he and the promotion are pushing for an immediate rematch. 'Wonder Boy' said:

“ONE is interested in doing a rematch. I'm also very interested. I would like to face him again, but he came out of the fight very hurt. I don't believe he wants the rematch. But if he wants to, I don't know how long he'll need to recover and do this fight again.”

The 25-year-old rising star was finding success prior to the fight-ending illegal groin strike, leaving most thinking he was close to a finish if not for the low blow.

Expectedly, Andrade was incredibly frustrated following the fight as he walked back to the locker room.

While an immediate rematch would still be highly-anticipated, it would be Lineker who would have something to prove this time around, not Andrade.

Fabricio Andrade believes he's the top bantamweight

The Brazilian phenom showcased his striking prowess in his first world title fight. So much so that he seemingly delivered on his promise to turn Lineker, who enjoys striking himself, into a wrestler.

Fabricio Andrade and many others are now calling him the best bantamweight on the roster. He claimed:

“Now, I'm the best bantamweight in ONE and one of the best in the world, so having the belt would be very important to me. I already gave up my vacation to be able to go back to the gym and continue training. Now, I'll wait to find out who will be my opponent for the belt.”

Some viewers have criticized Lineker's inability to continue fighting after the groin strike. However, the evidence of his shattered cup should put an end to that criticism.

Be on the lookout for an announcement regarding a potential rematch between the two bantamweights who headlined ONE on Prime Video 3.
