Fans and fellow fighters are hyped for the upcoming heavyweight world title unification bout between Anatoly Malykhin and Arjan Bhullar at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video.

The Russian powerhouse will put his undefeated record on the line against Bhullar, who is making his first appearance since beating Brandon Vera to earn the ONE heavyweight world title back in April 2021.

Anatoly Malykhin attained the interim heavyweight strap by knocking out Kirill Grishenko in February 2022. He has since secured the undisputed ONE light heavyweight world title after finishing Reinier de Ridder in the first round at ONE on Prime Video 5.

Anatoly Malykhin leaves many of his career decisions up to his wife, Anita

The 35-year-old champion has a strong support system, led by his wife Anita, who helps him make some big decisions related to his MMA career.

Malykhin told reporters after winning the light heavyweight gold:

“I think I'm going to leave it to my wife because she's my manager and of course the boss himself, Chatri. I'm ready for anyone. I'm just here to make the show so everyone should be ready.”

'Sladkiy' has been delivering show-stopping performances since joining ONE Championship in 2019. All four of his bouts have ended with him knocking out his opponent, highlighted by his first-round TKO over de Ridder last December.

Incredibly, not one of his 12 professional fights have gone the distance. In fact, he managed to get his hand raised in the opening round of all but two of his bouts. His efforts earned him 2022 MMA Athlete of the Year honors by ONE.
