MMA journalist Aaron Bronsteter recently tweeted about the UFC changing their gambling policies. The organization has firmly declared that all fighters, trainers, and other insiders will be banned from betting on fights.

These new changes have been implemented in the aftermath of the fallout from the infamous Minner vs. Neurdanbieke featherweight bout which led to the James Krause illegal betting scandal and subsequent suspension of UFC wagering in two Canadian provinces.

However, fans seemed unsatisfied with these new efforts and made their feelings known in the comment section of Bronsteter's tweet.

Twitter user @seeburn2 reminded the promotion of their inaction regarding Dana White publicly slapping his wife on New Year's Eve:

"Maybe amend their code of conduct on domestic violence, as their leader likes to beat on his wife."

Twitter user @J_liiio wrote:

"Yet come saturday, we’re gonna have Draft Kings promo shoved down our throats every time they get a chance."

Twitter User @killtyre13 asked:

What’s the UFC’s policy on domestic violence?

Twitter User @MesozoicReptile speculated:

"I bet Rogan, Anik etc still bet all the time. 100%"

@VETERANUSA1 wrote:

"I'm surprised this wasn't already in their contract or rules."

UFC removes flyweight Jeff Molina amidst James Krause betting scandal

Coach James Krause found himself in hot water when his pupil Darrick Minner fought Shayilan Nuerdanbieke in November last year and the pair came under investigation due to a dramatic betting line change right before the bout began.

Jeff Molina seems to be the latest fighter to suffer the consequences of Krause allegedly being involved in a betting hustle. The flyweight has been removed from the UFC roster and suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for his alleged involvement in the same.

The world's premier MMA promotion has actively distanced itself from anyone involved with Krause, and fighters who train at his gym are barred from competing at official events unless they find an alternative coach.

Prior to his release from the promotion, Molina was the No.14-ranked contender in the division and on the verge of breaking into the top 10. He is currently riding an impressive 10-fight winning streak dating back to 2018.

The MMA promotion recently also announced their partnership with U.S. Integrity, an independent data intelligence and fraud prevention company, to ensure the prevention of such scandals in the future.
