Andrew Tate and his brother were arrested last month during a raid carried out by the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) at the controversial internet figure's place of residence in Bucharest, Romania. The brothers have been detained on suspicion of multiple crimes, including human trafficking.

One of the most polarizing figures on the internet, Tate has managed to garner a sizeable fanbase thanks to his social media engagement and numerous controversial takes on social issues that are hotly debated on the internet.

While the 36-year-old is currently incarcerated as he awaits further legal processes, many have strongly condemned him for his alleged crimes. However, popular stand-up comic Andrew Schulz recently opted to share a nuanced take on Andrew Tate.

Speaking on the latest episode of the FLAGRANT podcast, Schulz referred to the rationale that two things can be true at once and stated:

"It's really interesting... He can be an incredibly engaging speaker, have interesting thoughts about gender identity... Be incredible at debate and be funny, and also maybe be involved in some shady dealings with women and the sex-cam business. All these things can be true. And I think people are using one to discredit the other when they're completely unrelated."

Joe Rogan shares his opinion on Andrew Tate and his rhetoric

Joe Rogan is known to be someone who freely speaks his mind and often gives his unbiased take on a wide variety of issues on his globally famous podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE).

With news of Andrew Tate getting arrested in Romania causing shockwaves on social media, it is not surprising that the popular comedian shared his opinions on the controversial figure.

On an episode of JRE #1920 with Dave Portnoy, Rogan shared his thoughts on the message that Andrew Tate presented, which is largely deemed misogynistic. Rogan stated:

"I don't know him [Andrew Tate]. If I did know him, I would tell him all the boastful s**t and the s**t about him being the Top G and all that stuff - all that s**t's great, but the misogynistic stuff - like, if you have daughters or if you have a wife or if you have sisters, you don't want that. That narrative, putting that out there, that's negative - to everybody. It's not even positive to him. It's like, it's not necessary."
