Florida street fight with criminal record set to make his UFC debut this weekend
Sedriques Dumas, Florida street fighter who'll make UFC debut

Sedriques Dumas, a Florida-based mixed martial artist, is set to make his debut against Josh Fremd at UFC Fight Night 221 this weekend.

Dumas earned his UFC contract with a remarkable first-round submission victory over Matej Penaz in Dana White's Contender's Series last year.

However, Dumas' debut comes amid controversy due to his criminal record and a recent altercation outside a bar in Pensacola, Florida, where he allegedly struck a woman during a street fight.

Dumas also has prior convictions for shoplifting, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, and driving with a suspended license. He also has an ongoing case for DUI in the Escambia County Court.

Despite his troubled past, Dumas remains focused on his goals in the sport. In an interview with Full Send MMA ahead of his fight, the 27-year-old revealed that his main aim is to achieve more knockouts than Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson and Derrick Lewis.

Dumas emphasized that he is not concerned with winning the title belt; he just wants to have the most knockouts and submissions in the promotion.

"My main goal is to have more knockouts -- rest in peace -- than [the late] Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson, and more knockouts than Derrick Lewis. And that's my goal. Anything else? Y'all can have that f**king [UFC title] belt. I really don't care about that belt. I just want the most knockouts, the most submissions that I can get when I'm in the UFC."

UFC fighter Sedriques Dumas issues stern warning to future opponents

MMA fighter Sedriques Dumas has issued a stern warning to opponents who cross the line during fights as he prepares for his upcoming debut this weekend.

The 26-year-old Florida native has never shown disdain for his opponents and expects the same sportsmanship in return.

For Dumas, it's all about the money and the competition. However, he draws a line when opponents try to showboat and provoke him before the fight.

In an interview with the UFC, Dumas stated:

"We're going to keep it PG, but there are certain lines you don't cross with me because I will beat the dog s*** out of you. If you put your hands on me before the fight, I'll slap the s*** outta ya."

With Dumas set to face Josh Fremd this weekend, fans can expect an electrifying performance from the new face.
