Floyd Mayweather has announced a number of exhibition fights across the world in multiple countries for 2023.

'Money', who officially retired from the sport in 2017 after fighting Conor McGregor, has kept himself active by fighting a number of exhibition fights. He has fought in Dubai, Japan, and even the United States in his exhibition matches. Mayweather calls these fights, legalized bank robberies and compares them to heists. In a recent Instagram post, he announced his calendar for 2023:

"This is what my 2023 looks like so far…5 exhibitions in 5 countries in 9 months and if any of these exhibitions don’t happen, I still get paid. I’m the most active hustler in boxing, my money is guaranteed."

Sticking to the theme of 'bank robberies', the exhibition tour has been aptly named, The Heist Exhibition Tour. In the duration of 9 months, the former boxing world champion will travel to five different countries and has claimed that if no fight takes place, he will still get paid to show up. 'Money' Mayweather, true to his monicker, has stated very bluntly that the only point of these fights is to earn money.

His last fight came against British YouTuber-turned-boxer Deji Olatunji in November last year, and secured victory via sixth-round TKO.

Floyd Mayweather calls his exhibition fight against Aaron Chalmers a 16-minute heist

Floyd Mayweather fought Aaron Chalmers, a former MMA fighter who filled in as a last-minute replacement for his exhibition fight. The fight took place at the O2 Arena on the same day as the Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury fight and the crowd that showed up to the event was far from impressive. Even the hype for the fight was extremely low, with British boxing fans not knowing the fight even took place.

In an Instagram post, Floyd Mayweather called the fight a heist:

"Sitting back with no bumps, bruises, scars, or head trauma from that 16 minute heist with no mask in London. The GREENPRINT is to constantly make money & stack money. Get yourself a business and stay out of other people’s business. Stay in your lane."

The fight was not exactly competitive, with eight two-minute rounds. Mayweather was dominating the entire fight and his opponent barely ever came close to hurting him or even connecting with punches. Fans were disappointed by yet another exhibition match.
