UFC veteran Vitor Belfort offered Jake Paul $30 million to fight him

Vitor Belfort last appeared for the UFC at UFC 244 in 2018. 'The Phenom' faced fellow Brazilian MMA veteran Lyoto Machida but lost via a stunning front-kick KO in the second-round. Following the loss, Belfort announced his retirement from MMA.

After three years away from fighting, Belfort decided to follow the trend and step into the world of boxing. The former 205lbs champion faced boxing veteran Evander Holyfield in an exhibition bout and TKO'd the former heavyweight champion of the world in the first round.

Belfort is scheduled to face Hasim Rahman Jr. next month in his second exhibition fight. Rahman Jr. was close to fighting Jake Paul earlier this year but the fight was pulled due to Rahman Jr.'s weightcutting issues.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, Belfort previously stated that he's planning on teaching Jake Paul a lesson when it comes to boxing. The Brazilian fighter reportedly offered 'The Problem Child' $30 million for the fight:

"I would like to give him [Jake Paul] a lesson. Jake Paul needs a lesson. And everybody wants to see that. But the question is what we're doing to motivate him. That's why he has $30 million. He doesn't earn that money. But I guess how he has a new platform and these new people that he can attract and buy pay-per-view. They want to see him get beat.”
