Francis Ngannou recently responded with a firm suggestion after Jon Jones voiced interest in fighting him. Ngannou proposed that Jones should first take care of the UFC heavyweight division.
Initially, 'The Predator' had expressed a desire to return to the UFC if given the chance. After hearing this, Jones took to his X account to share his thoughts on it:
"I’m hearing Francis Ngannou is still interested… now we’re talking. That’s a real super fight. A clash of champions, not just hype. He held the UFC belt. I’ve defended mine for over a decade. Two kings from different roads. Not just one legend facing a mouth that’s hot right now, but two real legacies colliding. That’s the kind of fight that actually adds something special to my story. 👑🔥 At least from my point of view."

Ngannou came across Jones' post, which expressed willingness to face him and referred to their potential fight as a "real super fight." While the reigning UFC heavyweight champion was enthusiastic about the fight, the French-Cameroonian responded with a stern statement:
"You take care of the UFC, I'll take care of the PFL, and we'll finally find out who's the KING OF THE HEAVYWEIGHT. 🤴"
