Fresh off his ONE lightweight MMA world title triumph against Shinya Aoki in May 2019 at ONE: Enter the Dragon, Christian Lee stepped in on very short notice to face Dagi Arslanaliev in the ONE Lightweight MMA World Grand Prix Final in October 2019 at ONE: Century Part I.

Lee's three-round battle with Arslanaliev has thrilled the fans inside the legendary Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan, and ONE Championship reposted the full fight replay on YouTube:

"Relive the thrilling ONE Lightweight MMA World Grand Prix Championship Final between future two-division king Christian Lee and Turkish warrior Dagi Arslanaliev in 2019!"

'The Warrior' survived an early onslaught from the Turkish and managed to end the opening round with some vicious ground and pound strikes to inflict significant damage.

That late first-round barrage from Lee set the tone for the rest of the match, as he used his superior grappling skills to take Arslanaliev in the next two rounds and completely dominate him for the unanimous decision victory.

Christian Lee to defend his ONE lightweight MMA world title against Alibeg Rasulov on Dec. 6 at ONE Fight Night 27

Following that World Grand Prix victory, the Singaporean-American star has only dropped one fight in his next five matches and, in the process, became a two-division MMA world champion after beating Kiamrian Abbasov for the ONE welterweight MMA world title via fourth-round TKO in November 2022 at ONE on Prime Video 4.

Now, after four years of hiatus, the Evolve MMA and United MMA representative is scheduled to defend his lightweight MMA gold against Alibeg Rasulov in the main event of ONE Fight Night 26.

ONE Fight Night 26 airs live from the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Dec. 6, and North American viewers with an active Prime Video subscription can watch all the action live and for free.
