Due to a weight miss, Lineker was stripped of the world title and was unable to leave with the gold with a victory. In contrast, a win for Andrade would've resulted in him capturing the ONE bantamweight world championship.

In round one, knees to the body from Andrade were clearly having an effect on Lineker. 'Wonder Boy' looked sharp and landed hard combinations that were pushing the former world champion back.

Off a flying knee attempt, 'Hands of Stone' secured a takedown and followed up with heavy punches. Back on the feet, the precise shots from 'Wonder Boy' added visible damage to Lineker.

In round two, Brazil's 'Hands of Stone' came out more aggressive. Andrade peppered his opponent with jabs and Lineker responded with thunderous hooks until he secured a takedown and landed even more heavy punches. To end the round, Andrade landed punches and knees to the body.

In round three, a thunderous knee to the body caused 'Hands of Stone' to stumble. 'Wonder Boy' followed this up with an attempted second knee to the body, but accidentally collided with Lineker's cup.

Lineker was unable to continue after the illegal strike and the fight was officially declared a no contest.

Fabricio Andrade discusses his ONE on Prime Video 3 main event

'Wonder Boy' Fabricio Andrade discussed the unfortunate end to the main event showdown post-fight. The Brazilian is healthy and ready to get back in the circle soon, and he still has his sights set on ONE gold.

While speaking to the promotion, he said:

“Now, I'm the best bantamweight in ONE and one of the best in the world, so having the belt would be very important to me. I already gave up my vacation to be able to go back to the gym and continue training. Now, I'll wait to find out who will be my opponent for the belt.”

Regarding the illegal strike, he explained:

“When I landed the knee on him, I thought, ‘Now, it's over.’ But it turned out that I got carried away and ended up landing a blow to his genitals, which turned out to be his salvation.”

Brazil's Fabricio Andrade is hungry to get back in the ONE circle against John Lineker or another top contender. The bantamweight throne remains vacant, but 'Wonder Boy' believes he deserves the crown.
