MMA fans were critical of a person who heckled Jorge Masvidal after his recent boxing match against Nate Diaz. After their first fight at UFC 244 ended in a TKO win for Masvidal, the rematch was five years in the making and took place in the boxing realm on July 6. Unfortunately for Masvidal, Diaz avenged the loss with a majority decision win in a closely contested rematch.
As 'Gamebred' left the ring and headed backstage after the disappointing loss, a fan added to the woes by mocking and taunting him. Masvidal tried to fire back but the security personnel and his teammates did not allow the situation to escalate further. The video of this instance was posted on @MMAJunkie X.

Fans were displeased with the man's behavior for taunting Masvidal, particularly in a controlled environment where Masvidal could not retaliate.

While Masvidal has maintained professionalism during most of his competitive appearances, he has been embroiled in several altercations outside the boxing ring or MMA cage.
The former BMF titleholder famously brawled with Leon Edwards backstage after his win over Darren Till in 2019. He also exchanged barbs with former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping in a hotel lobby after the Brit tore the Cuban flag to mock his rival Yoel Romero.
In one of the most infamous incidents, 'Gamebred' allegedly sucker punched teammate-turned-rival Colby Covington outside a restaurant which got him embroiled in legal trouble. This time, however, Masvidal was on the receiving end of the heckling and the situation was brought under control without escalation.
Masvidal's fight with Diaz marked his second professional boxing appearance. He made his debut back in 2005 with a unanimous decision win. While he ended up on the wrong side of the majority decision win, 'Gamebred' appeared to have landed the bigger strikes of the fight while Diaz peppered him with his trademark high-volume striking.
