Ham Seo Hee revealed who she wants to fight next.

‘Hamzzang’ continued her undefeated run in ONE Championship by defeating Itsuki Hirata at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video. The dominant unanimous decision win gives Ham a strong argument for a title shot next time out. During a brief interview with SCMP MMA, the South Korean-born fighter had this to say about what she wants next:

"Stamp [Fairtex], and I hope to have an action-packed fight with Angela Lee.”

Stamp Fairtex, number one atomweight contender, has an upcoming fight against Alyse Anderson at ONE Fight Night 10 on May 5. With a win against Anderson, Stamp would likely solidify a title shot. The question is, will she compete for an undisputed or interim world championship?

Meanwhile, Angela Lee, the reigning atomweight world champion, is recovering from the tragic death of her younger sister Victoria. It’s unclear when she plans to fight again, which is respected by everyone at ONE Championship. So if Stamp wins at ONE Fightl 10, she could find herself in an interim title fight against Ham, assuming Lee isn’t ready.

Ham Seo Hee reacts to Chatri Sityodtong saying she will get a title shot next

Ham Seo Hee made a statement with her dominant performance against Itsuki Hirata. In the aftermath, ONE CEO and Chairman confirmed that Ham earned a world title shot by defeating Hirata at ONE Fight Night 8. It’s unclear who her opponent will be, but ‘Hamzzang’ is thrilled about the opportunity. She had this to say during her post-fight interview:

“I was very happy. I got chills when I heard directly from Mr. Chatri Sityodtong. It's the only thing I've wanted since joining this organization, and I'm very excited.”

Ham is a seasoned veteran with 34 professional fights throughout several high-level promotions. She made her ONE debut in September 2021, defeating Denice Zamboanga by a split decision.

Six months later, ‘Hamzzang’ silenced the doubters with another decision win against Zamboanga. Since taking out Hirata in her last fight, the 36-year-old has proved she has the potential to become the ONE atomweight world champion.
