20-year-old English Muay Thai phenom Freddie Haggerty of the United Kingdom believes his older brother, multi-time ONE world champion 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty, has what it takes to derail Nabil Anane's rise to the top of the world's largest martial arts organization.

Anane has been on an absolute tear in ONE Championship, rising to prominence as the ONE interim bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, laying a trail of bodies in his wake which includes pound-for-pound great Superlek Kiatmoo9 himself.

But Haggerty feels his older brother Jonathan can be the man to beat Anane if the two meet in the ring.

Speaking to South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Haggerty explained why he thinks Jonathan can get the job done. He said:

"Nabil is going to be a hard fight for anyone, if I'm honest. The geezer's 6'4. It's unheard of, but I think Jon's got the style to beat him. He's got the movement. Traditional Thais, they stand there in front of you. Jon's got the footwork. He's in and out, he's moving, and like you see many times, if Jon needs to turn to heart, he can turn to heart. He can have it. So I think Jon's more than capable of beating him."

Freddie Haggerty praises Nabil Anane: "He's always been great"

Despite how he may feel about his brother beating Nabil Anane, Freddie Haggerty has only kind words and praise for the 6-foot-4-inch tall Muay Thai phenom.

He told South China Morning Post:

"He's always done well, even outside of ONE. I remember he was like, WBC world champion, really young, and stuff like that. So he's always been great. And I feel like he's built into the bantamweight division amazingly. Like with his body shape and stuff, so he's found a home now where he's comfortable."
