In response to Cejudo's callout, 'Sugar' expressed his disdain in an interview with MMAHour. O'Malley said he heard that Cejudo only had 37 dollars in the bank and that "he is trying to do anything to make more money."

O'Malley further added that Henry Cejudo is "more of an opening or co-main event kinda dude," seemingly questioning his ability to sell pay-per-views.

Cejudo then responded by making a personal jibe at 'Sugar,' claiming that he had 38 dollars but was left with 37 dollars after spending it on O'Malley's wife.

It remains to be seen whether this match-up will materialize in the future, with O'Malley stating that he does not believe Cejudo is making a comeback while the former Olympic gold medalist has been persistent with his claims of returning to the octagon.

Cejudo then went on to tweet out his own responses to Sterling, urging the champ to sign a contract and stop avoiding him.

With Cejudo and Sterling exchanging harsh words and insults at each other publicly, they may cross paths down the line. UFC legend Daniel Cormier recently said that he sees no reason why Cejudo shouldn't be granted a title shot against Sterling if he does return to the octagon.
