Henry Cejudo partners with comedian to savagely roast fans at UFC fan expo 

Henry Cejudo teamed up with Adam Hunter to roast fans at a meet and greet.

Cejudo last fought in May 2020, when he temporarily retired after defending the UFC bantamweight championship. Since then, the Olympic gold medalist has focused on growing his platform through social media content that showcases his personality. ‘Triple C’ displayed his comedic side during an event where he signed autographs and took pictures with fans.

Cejudo was joined by Hunter, a comedian who has done several standup sets on UFC Fight Pass, with two events featuring past and present fighters. During the video posted on Twitter, the professional joke teller was roasting ‘Triple C’ and fans by saying:

“It is the no p**sy posse. Team Fortnight is here… It’s like the Mexican Taliban here… These guys are not getting laid tonight.”

“This is like when two virgins meet. This is why you don’t wanna get into fighting, these are the groupies right here.”

“This guy’s been quarantining since 2005.”

“Nobody could look up to him (Cejudo) physically… This is the gayest faceoff in the history of faceoffs.

Cejudo joined in with jokes about himself:

“Just today (I’m doing the meet and greet) and then tomorrow I gotta go landscape.”

“So do my cousins (lay floors for a living.)”

Cejudo made his UFC debut in 2014. He won his first four fights before losing back-to-back bouts against Demetrious Johnson and Joseph Benavidez. The Olympic gold medalist bounced back with a legendary run that featured wins against Wilson Reis, Sergio Pettis, Demetrious Johnson, T.J. Dillashaw, Marlon Moraes, and Dominick Cruz.

Along the way, ‘Triple C’ became a two-division UFC champion in the flyweight and bantamweight divisions. He is now looking to further his legacy by making his Octagon return three years after retiring.

Is Henry Cejudo fighting Aljamain Sterling for the UFC bantamweight championship?

Henry Cejudo vacated the bantamweight championship when he retired at UFC 249. As a result, he’s getting a chance to regain the 135-pound title in his first fight back. Cejudo will be fighting reigning champion Aljamain Sterling next, but the date has continued to be pushed back as Sterling suffered a torn bicep.

‘Funk Master’ was waiting to see if he could avoid surgery by using stem cells. The alternate recovery process must have worked because Sterling vs. Cejudo is reportedly almost finalized for UFC 288 on May 6. Only time will tell if ‘Triple C’ can become a UFC champion again.
