"I bet it smells great" - Fans left confused as Paige VanZant posts husband going to the washroom with door open

Former UFC star Paige VanZant was recently trolled for posting a peculiar picture of herself with her husband visibly using the bathroom.

The 29-year-old, who's married to Bellator star Austin Vanderford, posted the picture on Instagram with a funny caption asking:

"If you don’t s*** with the door open are you really in love????"

While VanZant clearly meant her post to be an endearing show of affection, fans weren't sold on the idea of someone keeping the bathroom door open while using the facilities. Fans and other users expressed their opinions in the comments section.

One user joked about the open-door policy and wrote:

"Bet it smells great in there."

Another user analyzed Vanderford's attire in the bathroom and wrote:

Paige VanZant husband: Who is Austin Vanderford?

Former UFC star Paige VanZant is married to Bellator middleweight contender Austin Vanderford The couple got hitched in September 2018 after about a year of dating.

Vanderford is reportedly a member of the famed American Top Team MMA gym and is a two-time NAIA All-American Wrestler for Southern Oregon University. He also defeated Angelo Trevino via second-round submission in Dana White's Contender Series in 2018 but couldn't secure a UFC contract.

'The Gentleman' made his professional MMA debut in 2017 and went on an impressive 11-fight undefeated run before facing Gegard Mousasi for the Bellator middleweight title at Bellator 275.

Vanderford lost his title fight via first-round TKO and was handed another TKO loss by Aaron Jeffery at Bellator 284. He is currently on a two-fight losing slide and is scheduled to face Imamshafi Aliev at Bellator 297 on June 16. His record is 11-2.

Paige Vanzant and Austin Vanderford reportedly hit it off after being introduced by UFC alum Chael Sonnen in 2017.
