British Muay Thai icon and former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title challenger 'Hitman' Liam Harrison of the United Kingdom is coming off a nearly two-year layoff due to injury.

The 38-year-old veteran suffered a harrowing knee injury at the hands of legendary Thai fighter and former world champion Nong-O Hama in mid-2022. Harrison has been in recovery since.

Now, 'Hitman' is all but ready to step back inside the Circle for his highly anticipated return fight. But some fans question his ability to return to form.

Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Harrison responded to his critics and reassured fans they are getting the same 'Hitman' they all know and love.

The 38-year-old said:

"I’m not gonna forget what to do. A fight is a fight. And I mean, I feel like I was born to do this so it won’t make a difference at all."

'Hitman' Liam Harrison is set to lock horns with Katsuki Kitano of Japan in a three-round bantamweight Muay Thai showdown at ONE 167: Tawanchai vs. Nattawut II on Prime Video.

The event broadcasts live from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action on U.S. primetime, live and absolutely free on Friday, June 7th, only on Amazon Prime Video.
