The 23-year-old warrior, a graduate from ONE Friday Fights, made his American primetime debut in style inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, last week, finishing the No.5-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender Nakrob Fairtex with a brilliant head kick knockout only 52 seconds into their battle.

Jaosuayai, who appeared calm and composed before he authored a moment of pure magic in Bangkok, however, admitted there was a mountain of psychological pressure leading up to his latest appearance inside the Mecca of Muay Thai.

"It’s probably the most nervous fight I’ve ever encountered because when I was walking out, I felt like some brain fog, I felt like something was in my chest. And right after the fight, I felt all the symptoms were gone. So, yeah, maybe I was nervous," he told Nick Atkin in a backstage interview shortly after his triumph.

His jaw-dropping finish, a fifth straight win in the promotion, also earned him a US$50,000 performance bonus from ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.

More importantly, it sent a statement message to anyone occupying the ranked spot of the flyweight Muay Thai division.

Jaosuayai says head kick KO of Nakrob wasn't a stroke of luck

Jaosuayai's clinical sub-minute finish of Nakrob Fairtex was as impressive as they come. To those who thought it arrived out of sheer luck, the Thai knockout artist revealed it was all part of his ability to read, dissect, and counter.

"I saw and I studied him - every time he presses forward, he drops his guard. So, because of that, I predicted that I could use my high kick to finish him, and I did," he told Mitch Chilson during his in-ring interview.

Though he didn't get to showcase all the "cool Muay Thai moves" he vowed to display on fight night, a wicked finish more than makes up for that.

Fight fans in North America, who missed any of the action from ONE Fight Night 32, can watch the card in its entirety via replay on Amazon Prime Video.
