Diego Paez is not intimidated one bit by Johan Ghazali's signature swagger.

The Colombian-American striker is out to take away 'Jojo's' shine at ONE Fight Night 32: Nakrob vs Jaosuayai on Prime Video this Friday, June 6, inside the fabled halls of Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium.

Ghazali's stature as one of the fastest rising young stars of the flyweight Muay Thai division is not lost on Paez.

The 31-year-old veteran has already studied Ghazali's penchant for figuring in all-out brawls. While admittedly impressed by the 18-year-old's fearless style, Diego Paez is confident it's not something he cannot handle.

The Classic Fight Team standout vowed to bring the fight to Ghazali in his pre-event interview with The Bangkok Post's Nick Atkin:

"I think anybody should be confident when they step in there, but I'm not going to shy away from any challenge, and I think stylistically this is a great matchup for me. So, I'm confident too, and I hope he's ready for a fight."

It seems like Diego Paez's approach to counter Ghazali's forward pressure is to match his aggressive nature.

The California native is seeking redemption at ONE Fight Night 32, following his narrow split decision loss to Sean Climaco in his promotional debut last February.

Diego Paez expects to kill or be killed at ONE Fight Night 32

Diego Paez isn't a big fan of getting the judges involved in his fights. Whether he wins or loses, the Colombian-American striker prefers the outcome of his matches to be decided in the most definitive way possible.

At ONE Fight Night 32, Paez will go for broke to score a highlight reel knockout against Johan Ghazali that's worthy of a $50,000 performance bonus. He told ONE:

"I think ideally, it would be cool to have a back-and-forth, hard-fought victory, and for it to end not by the judges, but by a finish, like a technical knockout or a knockout. I think that would be ideal for me and also the fans."

Prime Video subscribers in North America can watch ONE Fight Night 32 free as it happens live in US Primetime.
