Anatoly Malykhin's destructive fight style has taken him to the pinnacle of three MMA divisions in ONE Championship. But the Russian slugger admits his ability to stay modest has also played an instrumental role.

'Sladkiy' returns to the Circle in the main event of ONE 169 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Nov. 8. He defends his heavyweight crown for the first time against Senegalese superstar 'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane.

Ahead of his world title defense, Anatoly Malykhin was asked about the secret to his record-breaking journey inside the Circle. In response, he told ONE Championship:

"I just love fights. Now, having three belts, I don't pay attention to it and try to stay hungry."

Though some would assume that his constant trash-talking on social media and rather colorful persona suggest otherwise, Malykhin's words stem from a place of confidence with no ill intent.

The One Chance Team and Tiger Muay Thai martial artist has consistently walked the talk. He has a perfect 14-0 slate and a 100 percent finishing rate to show for it.

As combat sports enthusiasts gear up for another loaded card inside the Mecca of Muay Thai this Friday, they can expect another trademark performance from the three-division MMA world champion.

Reug Reug willing to trade strike-for-strike vs Anatoly Malykhin at ONE 169

Looking to ruin Anatoly Malykhin's perfect run at ONE 169 is 'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane, who's earned his shot at the coveted 26 pounds of gold off a run of four straight victories.

Ahead of the scheduled five-round tilt, the 32-year-old colossal told the promotion that he won't shy away from trading leather with the Russian superstar.

He said:

"No. Never! Look at my hand. I have a big hand! It has big power. I'm not scared of anybody."

ONE 169 will be available to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription live in U.S. primetime for free this Friday, Nov. 8.
