Speaking with the Bangkok Post before his flyweight MMA debut at ONE Fight Night 26 on Friday, Dec. 6, 'The Monkey God' hilariously shared:

"Well I would one, try to sprint and then grab his ankles. I'm literally sprinting away just a little bit. You saw 'Reug Reug' when he was chasing that one guy. I'm going to sprint. I'm going to make him come towards me and then I'll grab his ankles and then I'll try to climb his back and stay on there like a backpack as long as possible and try to choke him out."

Brooks' overwhelming confidence on the mic and in the circle has been a significant part of his success under the ONE banner, highlighted by claiming the undisputed 125-pound MMA crown in December 2022.

Now, the American star turns his attention towards starting his conquest of the heavier 135-pound flyweight MMA division with a win over Reece McLaren at ONE Fight Night 26 on Friday, Dec. 6.

Jarred Brooks vowing submission win over Reece McLaren

Jarred Brooks does not think that fourth-ranked ONE flyweight MMA contender Reece McLaren will be able to withstand his renowned wrestling skills, which is why he is predicting a submission victory at ONE Fight Night 26.

The Mash Fight Team athlete said in the same interview with the Bangkok Post:

"So Reece, I wish you nothing but the best bro but on Saturday, I'm coming for your f***ing neck."

ONE Fight Night 26 will take place inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The event will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
