British rising star Freddie Haggerty hasn't been shy about his desire to get his hands on fellow striking phenom Johan Ghazali.
The 20-year-old, who's the younger brother of ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty, has been carving his own path in the world's largest martial arts organization.
Freddie Haggerty is now targeting big names to further boost his stock and shifted his crosshairs to the fan-favorite Ghazali.
Appearing in a recent interview with the South China Morning Post, Haggerty called his shot against 'Jojo'.

"Yeah, once we're in there, it's just a fair battle. It's who has trained harder, who's prepared better, who's ready to die for it. So, yeah, if ONE wanted me to do the fight, I'll happily fight him. I mean, it doesn't bother me."
Freddie Haggerty initially plied his trade in the strawweight Muay Thai ranks, but it looks like he's willing to fight at 135 pounds once more for a showdown with Ghazali.
The Knowlesy Academy and Team Underground affiliate came out guns blazing, notching three straight wicked finishes at the ONE Friday Fights circuit.
Haggerty stumbled in his US Primetime debut, losing via unanimous decision to Jordan Estupinan at ONE 170 last January.
Only time will tell if the England slugger gets his wish and shares the ring with Ghazali.
Freddie Haggerty caught off guard by Jordan Estupinan's size
Freddie Haggerty knew Jordan Estupinan had the size advantage against him, but admitted he was surprised to see how massive the Colombian is at 135 pounds.
Still, the 20-year-old poured his heart out and gave 'Panda Kick' a proper fight, but ultimately fell short on the judges' scorecards. He told SCMP:
"I didn't feel like I was out of place, but I do remember saying, like, at the weigh-ins, I felt we were similar size, and then we got in the cage, and he looked a lot bigger than what he was at the weigh-ins. So maybe that was a factor. Maybe I was a little bit more wary because I didn't know anything of him, but I felt comfortable with flyweight. I reckon eventually I will grow into it."
