Third-ranked ONE Championship flyweight MMA contender and former ONE world title challenger 'The King' Danny Kingad of the Philippines is a martial artist through and through.
He lives to train and fight, and spends most of his day working on bettering his skills. However, like everyone else, Kingad has things outside of fighting that he holds dear to his heart.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, Kingad said that spending time with family is the most important to him outside of fighting.
'The King' said:
"I still have the same routine, pretty much. Once a day, I will go to the gym to train. But the most important thing for me is family bonding."
'The King' Danny Kingad is set to go to war with first-ranked contender and former divisional king 'Mikinho' Adriano Moraes in a three-round flyweight MMA skirmish.
The two lock horns at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug on Prime Video, which broadcasts live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, Nov. 8.
Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action live and absolutely free on Amazon Prime Video. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda MMA for all the latest news and updates surrounding the event.
Danny Kingad believes conditioning will be key in Adriano Moraes rematch: "It was a bit of a concern for me"
'The King' Danny Kingad wants to make sure he's in the best shape of his life when he steps back into the Circle with arch rival 'Mikinho' Adriano Moraes at ONE 169 on Prime Video.
The 29-year-old says he's hard at work in the gym at Lions Nation MMA in Baguio City, so that he's in prime condition heading into the Moraes rematch.
Kingad told Sportskeeda MMA:
"It was a bit of a concern for me as well, but in a positive way. I think the main thing is that I get my body and mind ready and the game plan is in place already, so it’s more just fine-tuning everything all the way to fight night."
