Danielle Kelly is bringing a lot of attention to the world of submission grappling with her performances on the global stage, and she's mentoring young athletes along the way.

The 27-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu star secured her first victory inside the circle at ONE on Prime Video 4. Now, Kelly is focused on climbing the ladder towards a title shot.

As she continues to grow her fanbase and bring attention to the sport, Kelly is more than happy to share advice with the younger generation. She told ONE:

"And I always tried to help people that, I try to give advice, especially to young females, everyone, or anyone that's doing the sport or that wants to take it seriously, is to surround yourself with good people. Because that's really going to help."

Kelly has tons of advice to dish out considering how much talent she possesses. Her skillset was on full display in her most recent outing, locking in a standing rear-naked choke to tap out Mariia Molchanova.

Danielle Kelly eyeing a move to MMA in the near future

People tune in to watch Danielle Kelly compete no matter the sport, but fans around the world are patiently awaiting her mixed martial arts debut. Luckily, she recently told 'The Schmo' that people might not have to wait that long:

“Hopefully soon, I’ll have like one or two more jiu-jitsu matches and then maybe I’ll focus on my first MMA fight next year. I just want to compete in jiu-jitsu first, and then sometime next year I want to make the move to MMA.”

It will be fascinating to see how Kelly fares on the feet in her MMA debut. Of course, she'll more than likely own the grappling advantage no matter who she faces.

Kelly has already grappled against top-level opponents like Carla Esparza, Roxanne Modafferi, and Cynthia Calvillo. She, along with the Ruotolo brothers, is bringing tons of much-deserved attention to the sport of submission grappling.

Be sure to return to Sportskeeda for an announcement pertaining to Danielle Kelly's next match, as it could even be her much-anticipated MMA debut.
