Superbon believes he's come up with the perfect game plan to end Tawanchai PK Saenchai's reign atop the featherweight Muay Thai division.

The ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion will have another crack at Tawanchai's ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title in the main event of ONE 170 on Jan. 24 at Impact Arena.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Superbon said he learned from his mistakes in his first fight against Tawanchai.

The Thai superstar pointed out that he found areas he could exploit in their looming rematch and that things will ultimately play out to his advantage once they square up in Bangkok.

He said:

"In the next fight, that's not gonna happen again. From the last fight, I've got it figured out. I'm gonna prepare for that. But we're not gonna tell you what we're gonna do. I figured it out every time, I'm that person who always works harder to be better."

Superbon and Tawanchai lit up the historic Lumpinee Stadium during their first fight at ONE Friday Fights 46, with the Bangkok crowd singing to every punch, elbow, kick, and knee the pair of Thai superstars launched at each other.

Tawanchai ultimately secured the unanimous decision win to retain the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title.

Superbon, meanwhile, recovered with two straight wins against Marat Grigorian, for the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world title, and Jo Nattawut.

Superbon says he was the more accurate fighter in his first world title challenge against Tawanchai

While he didn't contest the result of their first meeting, Superbon was adamant that he landed with far better accuracy than Tawanchai during their 2023 super fight.

In the same interview with ONE Championship, Superbon said he landed more shots and used more of his arsenal than Tawanchai in the headlining fight of ONE Friday Fights 46:

"50-50 for me, I can't say that I won, I accept that I lost. But, I don't think I lost by much. I had more weapons, I hit the target more, but maybe he did more damage. It's hard to say," said Superbon.
