Aljamain Sterling was present in his friend and teammate Merab Dvalishvili's corner when 'The Machine' headlined the highly anticipated Noche UFC 306 event.
'Funk Master' was seen wearing a papakha, a traditional hat worn on several occasions by Dvalishvili. Sterling took to his Instagram account to upload pictures of himself cheering for his teammate from the corner.
The pictures also featured him and Dvalishvili celebrating the latter's victory with their team after the event.

Dvalishvili locked horns against Sean O'Malley in the Noche UFC 306 headliner. The event was held on Sept. 14 at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dvalishvili walked into the fight with a 10-fight win streak. 'Suga', on the other hand, was undefeated in his last seven outings prior to UFC 306.
On fight night, the 33-year-old put his grappling prowess to good use and outclassed his opponent for the majority of the bout. The contest lasted all five rounds and ended with a unanimous decision victory for 'The Machine'.
What's next for Aljamain Sterling in the UFC?
Aljamain Sterling was last seen in action at the historic UFC 300 event. He went up against Calvin Kattar in a featherweight showdown that night. The fight was a one-sided affair in which 'Funk Master' scored a comfortable unanimous decision victory.
Sterling is now scheduled to go toe-to-toe against Movsar Evloev, an undefeated featherweight with an 18-0 record. The fight will take place at UFC 307 on Oct. 5 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The event will be headlined by a light heavyweight title scrap between Alex Pereira and Khalil Rountree Jr.
