ONE atomweight sensation Stamp Fairtex will take part in ONE Championship's second venture into mixed rules contests at ONE Fight Night on Prime Video 6. Stamp, a former ONE atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion, will face ONE kickboxing star Anissa Meksen. Rounds one and three will be fought under Muay Thai rules while rounds two and four will be under MMA rules.

Needless to say, a great number of people are keeping their eyes on this much-awaited bout. One person who is absolutely amped to see this fight is ONE strawweight dynamo Lito 'Thunder Kid' Adiwang.

The Filipino MMA star is a striking specialist who has a background in Wushu. In an interview with ONE Championship, 'Thunder Kid' expressed his excitement for the mixed rules bout between Stamp Fairtex and Meksen:

"I think mixed rules fights are appealing to fans because they want to see two specialists go at it. Anissa Meksen is a dangerous, dangerous striker -- one of the best in the world. The way she just outclasses her opponents on the feet, it’s beautiful to see. Stamp is a complete fighter. She’s as good on the ground as she is with her striking. It’s going to be fun to watch."

Lito Adiwang believes Stamp Fairtex's background in different disciplines gives her an edge over Anissa Meksen

Unsurprisingly, Lito Adiwang is giving the edge to his fellow MMA fighter, Stamp. The ONE women's atomweight world Grand prix champion has become one of the most well-rounded fighters in ONE since she transitioned into MMA just a few years back.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan on YouTube, 'Thunder Kid' gave his thoughts on what kind of edge the flamboyant Thai has over her French-Algerian opponent:

“The difference here is, I’d give an edge to Stamp because she got tested in an MMA match, and Muay Thai match, and a kickboxing match. That’s her edge, how she can play the game."

Indeed, the great equalizer here is the ground game, where Stamp Fairtex has a wealth of experience over Meksen. Meksen, despite being considered the No.1 pound-for-pound greatest female fighter by Combat Press, has little to no experience in grappling. If Stamp can somehow bring the fight to the second and fourth rounds, she might have a significant chance of ending the night in her favor.
