Reigning and undisputed ONE women's strawweight Muay Thai world champion 'The Hurricane' Smilla Sundell of Sweden is excited for her next opponent, whom she says will push her to the absolute limit.

Sundell will defend her strawweight Muay Thai gold against rising Russian star Natalia Diachkova at ONE Fight Night 22: Sundell vs. Diachkova on Prime Video.

The event broadcasts live from the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and will air absolutely free to fans in the United States and Canada on Amazon Prime Video on May 3rd.

Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Sundell talked about how dangerous of an opponent Diachkova is.

'The Hurricane' said:

"I don't think any fight is easy at this level, so no. It's not going to be an easier fight compared to my previous fights. We'll see in the ring."

Needless to say, the 19-year-old Muay Thai sensation isn't taking Diachkova lightly, and is working hard to plug all the holes in her game in preparation of her next world title defense.

19-year-old fighting phenom 'The Hurricane' Smilla Sundell is a soft-spoken teenager with a happy-go-lucky demeanor outside of the ring. But as soon as she steps through those ropes and the bell sounds, the Swedish superstar says she transforms into a whole different person.

Speaking to Calf Kick Sports in a recent interview, Sundell says her competitive drive brings out the edge in her.

'The Hurricane' stated:

"I don't know, maybe I'm just an angry person inside? I don't know. But if I don't go forward and punch [my opponent], then I'm losing in my head. So I think it's just me wanting to win."
