25-year-old Brazilian contender Fabricio Andrade is confident going into his world title showdown against John Lineker. 'Wonder Boy' believes that he is a faster and an overall better fighter.

Fabricio Andrade explained his point of view when he was asked about the bantamweight champion's thunderous knockout power during their ONE virtual media day faceoff:

"I’ve been used to fighting with strikers in kickboxing and Muay Thai. I’ve fought a lot of good boxers, I have trained with good boxers. So I know my capacity and besides, with his power, we got so many things between that."

Andrade is on a three-fight first-round knockout win streak going into this battle for the bantamweight crown. With that, he is highly confident in his speed and movement:

"It’s not just about having power, it’s being able to connect and to be able to move and do other stuff so it doesn’t worry me at all."

The Tiger Muay Thai-trained fighter is not worried about the power John Lineker has owing to his slick movement. Fabricio Andrade will soon have his chance to prove his point as he meets 'Hands of Stone' on October 21 at ONE on Prime Video 3.

Fabricio Andrade is loving the main event spot at ONE on Prime Video 3

This Friday, 'Wonder Boy' Fabricio Andrade will be competing in his first world championship bout. It will also come on a major streaming platform, Amazon Prime Video, and in the main event, no less.

Because of the magnitude of this fight, he's had to train harder than ever, which has included experience overseas. Despite that, the 25-year-old Brazilian is not feeling the pressure, nor is he tired of training. Instead, he is loving it.

In an interview with Andrew Whitelaw of Asian MMA, Andrade explained that this is what he lives for:

"I work really, really hard. I live for this. My life is about being the best version of myself. So everything I do, I wake up to go train, I eat what I think is going to make me recover better, to have better muscles. After training, when I'm tired, I'm going to do some ice baths. So everything I do is related to fighting and training to get better."

The fight for the bantamweight throne will also be a battle for Brazil. Fabricio Andrade told ONE that this will likely be the biggest main event they've produced featuring two Brazilians:

“I think in ONE Championship, [this is] the biggest fight between two guys from the same country. Because, as I said, he has a big name, especially in Brazil. Everybody knows him."
