ONE flyweight Muay Thai rising contender Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi was expecting a grueling war of attrition against his fellow Thai warrior Nakrob Fairtex in the curtain closer of ONE Fight Night 32 last weekend.
What he was anticipating to be a gritty battle turned out to be a quick night at the office. The fifth-ranked Nakrob didn't even last a minute after being on the receiving end of the 23-year-old's ballistic head kicks.
After surviving an early knockdown, a visibly dazed Nakrob goaded his compatriot to come forward, which turned out to be a huge mistake.
Jaosuayai ripped precise punch combinations that got past the Fairtex Training Center affiliate's guard.

On the verge of falling down a second time, Nakrob's head dipped, and Jaosuayai went for the kill with another thunderous head kick that shut the lights out in just 53 seconds of the very first round.
Speaking to ONE during his post-event interview, an elated Jaosuayai admitted he was just as surprised as the rest of us that this fight was over in an instant.
"It was totally unexpected, and I'm very happy about it. I didn't think that I would get the knockout that quick."
Jaosuayai knew Nakrob would struggle with his head kicks
Jaosuayai loves to punish the opposition with chopping kicks to the body and legs. However, against the ultra-aggressive Nakrob, the 23-year-old KO artist noticed that he'll have a lot of success with his head kicks.
The brilliant striker stuck with his game plan and was thrilled to see it work to perfection.
The Sor Dechapan athlete told Mitch Chilson in his in-ring interview:
"I saw and I studied him - every time he presses forward, he drops his guard. So, because of that, I predicted that I could use my high kick to finish him, and I did."
