Jake Paul claims he won't be regarded as a "real boxer" even if he knocks out Tommy Fury in upcoming clash

Jake Paul is set to face Tommy Fury in the boxing ring on 26 February in Saudi Arabia, and 'The Problem Child' has promised to knock out his rival.

Paul began his boxing journey in 2020 and has a record of 6-0 with 4 KOs. The YouTuber-turned-boxer has garnered a lot of criticism since his boxing debut, and many continue to disregard him as a boxer due to his previous opponents.

'The Problem Child' has faced off against a YouTuber, a former NBA player, and several former MMA fighters well past their prime fighting years. Despite facing a professional boxer of a similar age in Tommy Fury, Paul believes that his haters will continue to deny him even when he knocks Fury out.

Jake Paul took to Twitter and said this:

"I will knock him out. And then they will still say I’m not a real boxer. You have to believe in yourself. Don’t let anyone detract you from your goals. 3 years in and I am just getting started. 22 days to The Truth."

Jake Paul has faced former MMA world champions Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and Anderson Silva in the ring.

Many feel 'The Problem Child' hasn't come up against a real test yet, as Askren and Woodley have backgrounds in grappling, and Silva, despite having superb striking skills, was 47 years old when he fought a 25-year-old Paul.

Jake Paul responds to criticism around his brother's new PRIME deal with UFC

Jake Paul's brother, Logan, partnered with KSI last year to create a new sports hydration drink called PRIME.

The UFC recently announced that the energy drink would become the official hydration sponsor of the promotion, and the famous blue and red corners have been renamed as the "PRIME hydration recovery zones."

The deal has caused some outrage among MMA fans, particularly because the deal doesn't appear to benefit the fighters in any way. Paul has campaigned for improved fighter pay within the UFC for several years and has traded insults with UFC President Dana White over the issue.

'The Problem Child' has recently signed with the MMA promotion Professional Fighters League (PFL). Paul will fight in the "super division," which will see all fighters in that division compensated with a portion of PPV revenue.

But following Logan Paul's deal with the UFC, fans have called Jake Paul out over potential hypocrisy. 'The Problem Child' responded on Twitter saying:

"Hey Anton…I’m always happy for my brother’s successes and while I have zero involvement in his drink, I hope UFC will share the revenue it receives with fighters."
