Jake Paul recently revealed a surprising factor that may have contributed to his first boxing loss at the hands of Tommy Fury. The 26-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer claimed that having a 'wet dream' the night before his fight was partially responsible for his loss.

'The Problem Child' came up short against 'TNT' after the two pugilists went eight rounds in the boxing ring on February 26 in Saudi Arabia. Fury won the contest via split decision, extending his record to 9-0 following the victory.

During a recent appearance on Logan Paul's IMPAULSIVE podcast, Jake Paul discussed how biology may have played a part in Tommy Fury getting the better of him on fight night.

"I fucked myself, literally... I literally woke up in a panic... You have two weeks of testosterone built up, and so the reason a wet dream happens is because your body needs to release that energy. Knows in your mind that this is not good... Makes your legs weak... Because the sperm is stored in your legs..."

Before the fight, Jake Paul revealed that he had a one-way rematch clause inserted into his contract. Paul announced in his post-fight interview that he would invoke the rematch clause and wants to face Tommy Fury for the second time later this year.

Jake Paul's next fight: Tommy Fury predicts a finish over 'The Problem Child' in their rematch

Jake Paul and Tommy Fury are expected to face each other for a second time soon. Considering their first contest garnered 775k pay-per-view buys, it's unsurprising to see both parties eager to sign for a second one.

Recent reports suggest that the rematch could take place sooner than expected. Journalist Mike Coppinger of ESPN Ringside claimed that the rematch is being eyed for July. However, where or when exactly the second clash between the two boxers could happen is unclear.

A rematch would also give Tommy Fury another shot at a decisive victory over his long-time rival. While his knockout prediction for their first fight did not come to fruition, Fury believes he can get it done the second time around.

In an interview on Good Morning Britain, Tommy Fury predicted a finish against Jake Paul, saying:

"The rematch is something that I'm definitely wanting because I believe in the rematch I will stop him... I've never been eight rounds before so you're just a bit weary of what's in your tank and how the fight is going to go. But I've now been in the ring with him once, I know what to expect."
