Jake Paul released a statement after being confronted by legendary undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather and his entourage.

'The Problem Child' was at the FTX Arena in Miami to attend the NBA game between Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Following the game, Paul was met by his old nemesis Floyd Mayweather. It is worth noting that the 26-year-old and 'Money' have been at odds since 2021 when the former snatched Mayweather's hat in the buildup to his exhibition bout against Logan Paul.

In an exclusive video released by TMZ Sports, Jake Paul can be seen being approached by Floyd Mayweather and a group of men. Seemingly present there with a lone security guard, 'The Problem Child' decided to flee the scene after exchanging a few words in order to avoid any physical altercation.

Following the incident, Jake Paul took to Twitter to release a statement. While suggesting that he's down to fight Floyd Mayweather 1v1 and does not expect Floyd Mayweather to jump on him with his entourage, 'The Problem Child' stated:

"Floyd if you want to fight 1 on 1 we can do that but don’t try to hop out of 3 cars 25 dudes deep tryna to jump me while I’m tryna enjoy my Wednesday night."

Jake Paul calls his loss to Tommy Fury a "gift from the universe"

'The Problem Child' was recently in action against Tommy Fury. The two finally entered the squared circle last month on February 26, and the fight turned out to be closer than most would've thought.

With a lot at stake for both fighters, it was Tommy Fury who emerged victorious. 'TNT' edged over Paul with a split decision to his name and handed Jake Paul his first professional loss following a hard-fought eight-round matchup.

While talking about his maiden boxing defeat on a recent episode of Impaulsive, Paul suggested that he looks at this loss as a "gift from the universe" in terms of his life and personal growth:

"This is a gift from the universe. If we're talking about in terms of life and my personal growth as a human being then this is a gift from the universe, this is a win."
