ONE Interim Atomweight Muay Thai queen Janet Todd has shown fans the worst places to absorb a hit during a fight.

'JT' is gearing up for her title unification bout against Brazil's Allycia Hellen Rodrigues at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video. The American striker attained the interim belt by defeating Spain's Lara Fernandez last July.

Meanwhile, Rodrigues is returning from a three-year layoff in which she gave birth to her first child. She became the atomweight Muay Thai champ by beating Stamp Fairtex at the age of just 21.

Todd claimed finishes in ONE Championship in a variety of ways, which the promotion shared in a highlight video.

Janet Todd explains why she took a hiatus from social media

Todd, who has been competing on ONE's global stage since 2019, has an opportunity to become a two-sport champion at ONE Fight Night 8.

While she has enjoyed connecting with all of her newfound fans, she has experienced the negatives of social media as well, telling Sportskeeda MMA:

“It's like a double-edged sword, but the part that social media is good about is connecting people. And I do appreciate that, you know? I haven't talked to family and I don't see them every day. It allows me to connect to them.”

She added:

“But the downside to it is I feel like, I just find myself, when I'm on social media, when you start scrolling, you start comparing yourself to some of the posts that come up. And I just hate doing that. Because why am I comparing myself with somebody else's life? And usually, when you post, it's usually like a highlight, right? It's not the behind-the-scenes grind that you're going through. So, I found myself comparing my behind-the-scenes against somebody's highlight, and it just didn't make me feel good about myself. I don’t want to put myself in a situation where I was comparing myself against other people.”

Make sure to watch ONE Fight Night 8 on March 25 to see Janet Todd and Allycia Hellen Rodrigues unify the women's atomweight Muay Thai world title, live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

All of the action will be broadcast live and for free to Amazon Prime subscribers across North America.
