Jeremy Pacatiw has some words of advice for John Lineker ahead of facing Fabricio Andrade for a second time.

Both Lineker and Pacatiw have first-hand experience against Andrade, who has proven himself to be one of the most dangerous strikers competing in ONE Championship.

In February 2022, Pacatiw was stopped by ‘Wonder Boy’ in under two minutes with his signature knee to the body, which also nearly finished John Lineker in their first bout.

After the first meeting between the two Brazilians ended in a no contest, ‘Wonder Boy’ has continued to trash talk the former champion, just like he did before ONE on Prime Video 3.

With their rematch at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video getting closer, Fabricio Andrade has once again upped the stakes by claiming that he will finish John Lineker and leave the circle with the ONE bantamweight world championship.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan, Jeremy Pacatiw spoke about Andrade’s trash talk and what he would do if he was in John Lineker’s position:

“Sometimes all that trash talk makes you lose track of things, it’s like you’re aware of what’s been said of you and you start to lose focus. So my advice to Lineker is to just ignore what Fabricio said, just focus on the fight.”

Jeremy Pacatiw says John Lineker should adjust his game plan in Fabricio Andrade rematch

Jeremy Pacatiw isn’t the only one who believes John Lineker needs to make some sizable changes for his rematch with Fabricio Andrade.

At ONE on Prime Video 3, Lineker was unable to implement his trademark game plan, which saw him become the bantamweight world champion after steamrolling through the division.

The 32-year-old has 35 professional wins under his belt, all of which have come from his signature fighting style of relentless pressure and devastating power.

The nickname ‘Hands of Stone’ has served him well in his career, but against Andrade the first-time around, he lost the striking exchanges and was unable to land anything too significant.

Ahead of his rematch with Andrade at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, Jeremy Pacatiw spoke to The MMA Superfan about how Lineker’s issues on the feet potentially came from wanting to land a home-run punch too much:

“It’s like he really wanted to connect with that one-punch knockout. But what happened was Andrade just kept hitting him. He couldn’t get his offense off. Let’s just see, I feel that they’ll adjust once they’re in the fight.”

If John Lineker is able to connect with a big shot early on in the rematch, it could change the entire look of the fight. In their first meeting, the extremely confident Andrade was able to dominate the range and keep Lineker right where he wanted him.

To reclaim his bantamweight world championship, which is currently vacant, John Lineker needs to do what he does best - hit his opponent with bombs.

The epic rematch can be seen live and for free on Prime Video in North America for fans with an active Amazon subscription.
