Joe Rogan has been critical of Brian 'Liver King' Johnson since the internet personality's admission that he used performance-enhancing drugs to achieve his physique.

The UFC commentator recently hosted Derek from 'More Plates More Dates' on The Joe Rogan Experience and took another shot at Johnson by revealing who he believes is the real Liver King. Rogan stated:

"The real 'Liver King' is Paul Saladino. He's really eating that. [To his assistant Jaime] Go to Paul Saladino's Instagram and show some pictures of his physique. You want to look like that guy? No hormone replacement, just gets sunlight outside, he's super healthy, all he eats is organic fruits and meat and organ meat."

Rogan added:

"Look at Paul, that's healthy, that's real. Like, what that guy's built like, that is 100% natural and acheiveable and he really does - he lives in Costa Rica, he surfs everyday, he eats nothing but healthy food."

Paul Saladino, also known as CarnivoreMD, is a doctor who preaches a carnivore diet. Saladino was friends with 'Liver King' and shared his thoughts on the latter's admission to using performance-enhancing drugs.

Joe Rogan previously correctly predicted that 'Liver King' was using PEDs

There had been plenty of speculation that Brian 'Liver King' Johnson was using performance-enhancing drugs prior to his eventual admission. Podcast host Joe Rogan was among those who had accused 'Liver King' of taking steroids.

Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience with Andrew Huberman, the UFC commentator had stated:

"The Liver King thing drives me nuts because that guy's on steroids. Just shut the f**k up. I know he's eating really healthy. It's clear he's eating all these animal foods and, you know, he's eating organ meat which is very rich in nutrients, and all that's true, but he's dodging the main bullet."

Rogan pointed out that it is almost impossible to achieve the physique that the 'Liver King' has without artificial assistance.

The internet personality would eventually come clean in a six-minute video in which he confessed to his PED usage and apologized for his dishonesty.

Rogan, however, shared that he wasn't buying the apology or the excuse that the 'Liver King' gave for being dishonest.
