Joe Rogan and fellow comedians Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Shaffir recently spoke about Title IX and the recent conversation about transgender athletes competing in female sports.
Title IX of 1972 is a federal civil rights law in the US that prohibits any form of s*x-based discrimination in schools or any other educational programs in the country. Title IX is an update of Title VII of 1964, which addressess discrimination in employment.
In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the comedians talked about June being considered Pride Month and what it entails in society today. Rogan asked them if June is still Pride Month. His producer, Jamie Vernon, pulled up an article that answered his question.

"'Pride Month No More: Trump administration says June is Title IX Month'. That is the thing that allows women to compete with only women in sports. Yeah, equal representation for women's sports. It's pro-women, and then there's trans women who think they're women and they want to compete with women. And Title IX should be there protecting them."
He continued:
"Some dude with a problem with his mom. Yeah, some guy who hates women. Could you imagine, if you just were allowed to like beat up women? If you, like, like made a league where men are allowed to fight women, how f*cking scary that would be?"

Joe Rogan on the Olympics' transgender debate: "That was controversial"
Speaking of transgenders, Joe Rogan also spoke on the matter in a recent JRE episode featuring NFL icon Aaron Rodgers. The two spoke about the recent controversy in the Olympics, where Imane Khelif, an Olympic gold medal winner, was accused of being a transgender woman competing in women's sports.
On the topic, Rogan said:
"The Olympics, they're letting some trans athletes compete in the Olympics. Which is, like, 'Okay, is that what we're doing?' One guy fought a woman, but it's like a guy with a micro p*nis, allegedly, and like, internal testicles but went through puberty as a man.
"Looks like a man, the whole deal, and then did a chromosome test for, allegedly, previous boxing or organization body, and it came back XY. And like, 'You're a man,' and then, you know, that was very controversial."
