Joe Rogan recently posted a touching tribute to Michael Lehrer following Lehrer's unfortunate death due to complications with ALS.

Lehrer was an incredibly inspirational comedian who not only used his debilitating health condition as comic material while also regularly performed in a wheelchair around various comedy clubs. His most notable appearances were on Tony Hinchcliffe's 'Kill Tony' podcast.

Rogan re-posted a picture of Lehrer and wrote an emotional eulogy for the 44-year-old comedian. The popular podcaster praised his courage and wrote:

"The courage this man had to do stand up while battling a debilitating disease was insanely impressive, and though he struggled to get words out the man would KILL onstage. He was a real legend, and I’m going to miss him very much."

Rogan also reposted a picture from comedian Tony Hinchcliffe's account with the words:

"Repost: @killtonyshow We knew it was coming yet there are still no words for it. What a human. He truly lived to make you all laugh. Rest easy our dear @michael_lehrer_als."

Joe Rogan indulges in psychedelic "Mad Honey" from the Himalayas

Joe Rogan hosts the globally popular podcast known as The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) and one of the most common topics discussed on the podcast involve psychedelics and psychotropic substances.

Rogan is also a self-described "psychedelic adventurer" and has often spoken about his use of powerful psychedelics like DMT and psilocybin mushrooms.

On a recent episode of the JRE podcast (#1925), Rogan hosted Will Sonbuchner a.k.a. Sonny Side, founder of the popular food and travel YouTube channel Best Ever Food Review Show.

Interestingly, Sonbuchner brought with him a jar of psychedelic honey called 'mad honey'. While the 55-year-old was keen to have a go at the honey, the comedian became very wary of it after Sonbuchner described the effects of consuming it in large quantities.

Sonbuchner recounted a story about his brother taking six teaspoons of the substance and his subsequent conversation with him, stating:

"I said, 'Why don't you text me the effects during the evening, so I'll know what to expect when I do it?' He said, 'Feels good. Warm. Warm breath. My body is on fire in a very positive way. It's weird. So far good. Might get nauseous. Take less. I can't tell. Not good.'"
