Joe Rogan was recently taken aback by Derek Munro's revelation about the USADA holding back the positive test results of a few noteworthy athletes. Derek also educated Rogan about what the USADA wanted from them in return.
The fitness educator and YouTuber, Derek Munro, from More Plates More Dates appeared as Rogan's guest for episode no. 2239 of The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE). Despite being fitness enthusiasts, the Rogan-Derek duo delved into several other topics amidst their conversations.
However, Rogan was surprised after Derek informed him that the USADA had suppressed the positive test results of a few "Olympic-level" athletes. The YouTuber also mentioned that the official website of WADA was the source of his knowledge. Derek said:
"[All the information is there] on the official WADA site. And they were basically exposing how USADA was covering up the [positive] test results for [a few]... unnamed... 'Olympic-level' and elite athletes...[Also] they got to go until retirement without getting exposed just because they helped USADA, supposedly, catch other people."

Rogan came up with a title for the USADA after being enlightened by Derek about their shady principles. The 57-year-old said:
"Oh, my God! So they are like a drug dealer that works for the government."

Joe Rogan detailed why PEDs are far more devastating in combat sports
Several noteworthy athletes, including the legendary cyclist, Lance Armstrong, have been caught red-handed by anti-doping agencies. However, in a previous episode of JRE, Joe Rogan detailed how the outcomes of using PEDs can be far more brutal when the field is MMA.
Rogan laid stress on the fact that MMA athletes take physical damage from the blows of their rivals. Hence, an athlete with PED-boosted physical capacities would cause much more damage to his rivals, which provides them with an unfair advantage along with posing a larger threat to the health of their rivals. Rogan said:
"Cheating [with PEDs in MMA] is not about a guy crossing the finish line faster than you. It's about a guy or a woman landing blows that they wouldn't have been able to land had they not been cheating [with PEDs]. What if someone dies? What if someone is doping, and it's proven that he's doping, and the beating that he gives his opponent leaves him dying. You could make an argument that manslaughter charges should, at least, be filed."
