Joe Rogan recently commented on the Greta Thunberg-led expedition to bring humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. The 22-year-old activist joined The Freedom Flotilla Coalition and boarded the Madleen and set sail from Sicily to Gaza about a week ago.
In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), Rogan and his friends Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Shaffir spoke about the daring humanitarian expedition.
With a hint of sarcasm in his voice, Rogan said:
"She's [Thunberg] going to fix. She's taking a sailboat to Gaza. That little 'How dare you girl?' You know, the climate change girl? The little autistic girl? Well, now she's 'Free Palestine'. She's singing things off her phone. Now, she's at the front of a boat like George Washington making its way to Gaza. She's like Leonardo DiCaprio."

He continued:
"She's going to fix it. She's going to break the Israeli naval blockade. Bro, those IDF [Israeli Defense Forces] guys are going to turn her into cat food [laughs]. They will light her up from the f*cking shore before she's even close. They don't play no games."

At the time of writing, it's been reported that Israeli forces have seized the Gaza-bound Madleen near the Israeli naval blockade. The activists are reported to be deported back to their home countries while the aid would be sent to Gaza through established channels.
When Joe Rogan hilariously commented on Greta Thunberg being named TIME's Person of the Year
Back in 2019, Greta Thunberg was named TIME Magazine's Person of the Year, due to her passionate climate advocacy. While most lauded the then-16-year-old activist for receiving this recognition, there were some who questioned TIME for choosing her.
In a JRE episode featuring Tony Hinchcliffe, Rogan commented on the news, saying:
"That Greta Thunberg girl, the climate girl who yelled at everybody, she's Person of the Year at TIME magazine. Is everybody losing their f*cking mind? Obviously, climate change is a real thing. Climate change is a real important thing - let's just get that out of the way. All I'm saying is, what is she? 14, 15, 16? No. No, by complaining on television it doesn't make you the most important person of the year or the most impactful person of the year."
