'Hands of Stone' John Lineker is highly confident in the power of his fists. The heavy-handed Brazilian will look to defend his bantamweight throne at ONE on Prime Video 3 with authority.

The 32-year-old Brazilian explained during the ONE on Prime Video 3 virtual press conference that he only needs one punch to stop his next opponent, Fabricio Andrade:

"This is like football. You only need one goal to win. Just like I only need one punch to win. It’s very nice for [Andrade] to dream about turning me into a wrestler. But I’m ready for him. I have over 50 fights, I’ve never been KO’d."

Since making his professional MMA debut in 2008, John Lineker has sustained nine losses. None of those setbacks were by way of KO/TKO, and no one has been able to stop the Brazilian with power.

However, 'Hands of Stone' lives up to his nickname, with a whopping 17 of his fights being won with a knockout stoppage. That includes when he earned the ONE bantamweight title by defeating Bibiano Fernandes earlier this year.

At ONE on Prime Video 3 on October 21, world title challenger Fabricio Andrade will look to extend his own knockout win streak and capture the bantamweight crown for himself. Lineker, the bantamweight king, says that won't be happening.

John Lineker says Fabricio Andrade's pre-fight talk is "nonsense"

'Hands of Stone' Lineker has great respect for the fighting skills of his compatriot and upcoming opponent 'Wonder Boy' Fabricio Andrade.

However, Andrade has been trash-talking Lineker for months. Despite that, though. the 32-year-old Brazilian claims that his opponent's words are just "nonsense."

In an interview with ONE Championship, John Lineker said:

“None of that bothers me. I take it all in my stride. I think talking is nonsense, we have to resolve it inside the circle. I’m going to show him that you don’t win by talking, but by showing what you’re good at inside the circle.”

The ONE bantamweight world champion also added that Andrade's trash talk is only motivating him more:

“Any opponent who talks nonsense about me only motivates me. I’m more motivated to get into the circle and do my best. So, opponents who do this kind of trash talk end up regretting it later, because instead of irritating me, they are motivating me even more."

John Lineker and Fabricio Andrade will both be aiming for knockout wins when they battle at ONE on Prime Video 3 on October 21 with the prestigious ONE bantamweight throne on the line.
