John Lineker has learned a lot from watching his ONE on Prime Video 3 main event with Fabricio Andrade on tape.

That knowledge will serve him well when the two Brazilian superstars meet once again for the ONE bantamweight world championship. They'll collide for the second time on February 24 as ONE Championship presents ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video.

Emanating from the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Thailand, John Lineker will attempt to regain the ONE world title that he lost on the scale last October.

Standing in his way will be No. 1-ranked bantamweight Fabricio Andrade. The two warriors delivered a highly entertaining three-and-a-half-rounds in their first meeting. The bout unfortunately ended without a winner after an accidental low blow from Andrade resulted in a no contest.

Still, the amount of time Lineker had inside the circle with Andrade could prove to be invaluable heading into their massive rematch.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Lineker revealed what he learned after watching their October showdown in preparation for the sequel later this month:

“Watching the fight I saw that I needed to improve my speed, work on my legs and movement, move my head more, get out of the target, out of his way,” Lineker said. “This is what I need to do differently. I need to use my speed and I can't stand in front of him, so he won't hit me as accurately.”

Kevin Belingon believes John Lineker’s energy is a key to his success

Former ONE bantamweight world champion Kevin Belingon knows the dangers of being inside the circle with John Lineker. The two men previously met at ONE: Inside the Matrix III in 2002, with Lineker delivering another highlight-reel knockout against the Team Lakay standout.

While most fans and fighters marvel at the immense power that Lineker possesses, Belingon believes his energy also plays a pivotal role in the success he has found throughout his career.

He told the promotion:

"I like John Lineker’s energy. Everyone knows his hands are very heavy, and they can take any opponent out in mere seconds. But his energy is underappreciated. He has good energy and it’s a different kind of energy he brings into his fights. And of course, he hits very hard. These qualities make him very special."

Fans in North America can witness John Lineker’s rematch with Fabricio Andrade at ONE Fight Night 7 live and for free on Amazon Prime Video in U.S. primetime.
