At ONE on Prime Video 3 John Lineker will be looking to record the first defense of his bantamweight throne. The Brazilian athlete captured the ONE bantamweight world championship earlier this year with an incredible knockout against Bibiano Fernandes.

The former king, Bibiano Fernandes set the record for most title defenses in history (7). In his MMA career, he held titles in every organization he competed in. Plus, he had not lost via KO/TKO since 2006. John Lineker put a stop to this.

Hard-hitting MMA veteran 'Hands of Stone' Lineker ended Fernandes' reign with a thunderous knockout in the second round of their world title showdown.

MMA commentator Mitch Chilson got a walk-through on how Lineker got the job done. ONE Championship on Instagram shared:

"John Lineker has KNOCKOUTS down to a science 💥 Will "Hands of Stone" claim his fourth consecutive knockout when he faces Fabricio Andrade this Friday at ONE on Prime Video 3?"

'Hands of Stone' John Lineker is confident in his power

Brazil's John Lineker is renowned and feared for his punching power. 'Hands of Stone' will be looking to defend his ONE bantamweight world championship on October 21 on ONE on Prime Video 3 against the surging Fabricio Andrade.

The 32-year-old Brazilian is confident in his punching power and explained that he only needs one punch to win the bout to defend his world title. During the ONE on Prime Video 3 virtual press conference, Lineker said:

"This is like football. You only need one goal to win. Just like I only need one punch to win. It’s very nice for [Andrade] to dream about turning me into a wrestler. But I’m ready for him. I have over 50 fights, I’ve never been KO’d."

In an interview with ONE Championship, 'Hands of Stone' outlined how he has so much punching power. His strength training is vital to his fighting success in the ONE circle. Lineker explained:

“When I do weight training, I work a lot with brute force. I finish my camps lifting 150kg [330 pounds] in the bench press, 200kg [440 pounds] in the deadlift, I lift a lot of weight in the biceps curl… I do a very intense period of strength work and I think that's the differential to hit harder than the other bantamweights."

'Hands of Stone' John Lineker will get a chance to potentially defend his throne utilizing his heavy hands. The challenger is a dangerous knockout artist from Brazil, 'Wonder Boy' Fabricio Andrade. ONE on Prime Video 3 is sure to be electric.
