'Hands of Stone' John Lineker was not happy with the way his previous fight ended. After a back-and-forth battle, 'Wonder Boy' Fabricio Andrade inadvertently kneed Lineker in the groin which forced the bout to end as a No Contest.

John Lineker sat down for an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA to discuss what happened after and how long the recovery took. The heavy-handed Brazilian athlete explained:

"At first I rested for a few days, with pain, at least three weeks with pain, and I took medication. But thank God it was nothing so serious and I had a good recovery and soon after I returned to training."

With no severe injuries, the 32-year-old fighter will be back in action soon. Fabricio Andrade and 'Hands of Stone' Lineker will soon battle for the vacant bantamweight throne. The world championship rematch between the Brazilians is booked for ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video. The event will go down on February 24 at the iconic Lumpinee Stadium. All the action will be broadcast live and for free on Prime Video for all Amazon subscribers across North America.

Danny Kingad on John Lineker vs Fabricio Andrade

Fans as well as world-class MMA fighters are looking forward to the fight between Lineker and Fabricio Andrade. No. 3-ranked flyweight 'The King' Danny Kingad will also be competing at ONE Fight Night 7 and discussed the ONE bantamweight world title showdown.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan, Kingad said:

“You know, to be honest, John Lineker’s hooks have got to hurt. It’s even more powerful because of the four-ounce gloves. So if an opponent ever eats one of his hooks, that’s a sure knockout. I think if he hits you clean, that’s a sure knockout.”

He continued:

"I don’t really know if Fabricio Andrade will be as dominant as he was in the first fight against John Lineker. But I’m sure he’s coming in as the favorite to win it."
