Brazilian light heavyweight Johnny Walker posted a video on Instagram showing off his incredible strength as he deadlifted a 300kg hex bar.

Walker can be seen training at AKA Thailand as he lifts 300 kilos of weight on a hex bar in the form of deadlifts. This is done as he looks at the camera and jokingly asks, "You think Jon Jones is strong, I'm gonna show who is strong."

The video attracted the appreciation of retired MMA fighter Mike Swick, who commented on his post calling him a "Beast." Irish boxer Gary O'Sullivan also commented on Walker's video stating that he displayed "serious strength there."

Coming off back-to-back losses, Walker redeemed himself at UFC 279 after securing himself a first-round win against Ion Cutelaba. Currently training at AKA Thailand, Johnny Walker is currently preparing for his showdown with Paul Craig at UFC 283 in January.

Johnny Walker to face off against Paul Craig at UFC 283.

Johnny Walker and Paul Craig will face each other in a light heavyweight match at UFC 283 on January 22, at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro.

Craig saw his six-fight win streak broken after a loss against Volkan Oezdemir back in July at UFC London. He will now face Walker, who won his last fight against Ion Cutelaba at UFC 279.

After suffering back-to-back losses before beating Cutelaba, Walker spoke in an interview with Agfight about the importance of being mentally prepared. He fully expects the home crowd in Brazil to intimidate Craig:

“I’m bringing Brazil another win at home. I count on everybody to cheer for me. Whoever is watching at the arena, you want to loudly chant ‘Uh, vai morrer’ (You’re going to die). That way my opponent will sh*t himself. I’m ready and I’ll give you another win.”

Meanwhile, Paul Craig seems raring to go, tweeting out his response to the official UFC fight poster of him and Walker.
