Who are the commentators for UFC 280?

The UFC 280 event will feature Jon Anik as the play-by-play commentator. Former two-division champion Daniel Cormier and former lightweight fighter Paul Felder are the color commentators, with Megan Olivi handling the reporting duties.

UFC 280: Commentary team

Joe Rogan will not be on the commentary team for UFC 280, as he does not travel overseas for UFC events anymore. Paul Felder will take his place alongside Daniel Cormier and Jon Anik.

Daniel Cormier

Daniel Cormier is a former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion. He is one of four fighters to simultaneously hold two divisional titles in the UFC alongside Conor McGregor, Amanda Nunes and Henry Cejudo. 'DC' retired from active competition in 2020 after UFC 252.

Cormier is now a live commentator and a fight analyst on ESPN and hosts the DC & RC Show alongside former Superbowl champion Ryan Clark.

Paul Felder

Paul Felder is a retired UFC fighter who competed in the organization's lightweight division. 'The Irish Dragon' had 15 fights in the UFC, of which he won nine and lost six. Notably, he has a win over UFC 280 headliner Charles 'do Bronx' Oliveira. Felder retired with an overall MMA record of 17-6 in May 2021.

Jon Anik

Jon Anik is one of the most recognizable voices in the UFC and has been with the organization since 2011. Anik previously worked with ESPN and anchored several UFC cards from UFC 91 to UFC 126 before joining the organization. In 2015, Anik teamed up with former UFC fighter Kenny Florian to start The Anik & Florian Podcast.

Megan Olivi

Megan Olivi has been with the UFC since 2013. She is the host of UFC Ultimate Insider and has her own series on UFC Fight Pass called The Exchange with Megan Olivi. She is married to former UFC flyweight Joseph Benavidez.

The Spanish commentary team will feature Troy Santiago, interim UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno and UFC welterweight Santiago Ponzinibbio. The fight card will take place at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
