Jon Jones and other key figures within the UFC hierarchy have shifted spots in the recent pound-for-pound rankings update. The UFC heavyweight champion has fallen one spot and is now the No.3-ranked P4P fighter. Also, Ilia Topuria moved down one spot and is now the No.4-ranked fighter.

Topuria's opponent for UFC 317, Charles Oliveira, has moved up one spot and is now No.14 in the pound-for-pound hierarchy heading into their vacant lightweight title fight. The previously unranked Arman Tsarukyan is now the No. 15, P4P, while welterweight champ Jack Della Maddalena bumped up one spot to the No. 8 slot.

Alex Pereira has also dropped down one spot and is now No. 9 in the P4P rankings. Plus, in the wake of their UFC 316 outcome that saw Merab Dvalishvili best Sean O'Malley for a second time, Dvalishvili has bumped up two spots to now be in the No. 2 spot just underneath Islam Makhachev, who is the P4P king.

Jon Jones' callout of Francis Ngannou irritates former UFC champion

Jon Jones has put the lineal MMA heavyweight champion in his crosshairs, but it has ruffled the feathers of a former UFC middleweight champion. Jones recently indicated interest in a fight with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, but the lineal MMA heavyweight champion is also currently the PFL titleholder.

Michael Bisping put 'Bones' on blast for trying to focus on a fight with Ngannou, while interim champion Tom Aspinall still sits on the sidelines with no confirmation on a title unification bout seemingly in sight.

Advocating for his fellow countryman who is now the longest reigning interim titleholder in company history and putting Jones on blast, Bisping in a recent YouTube video said:

"Francis Ngannou, by the way, has been beaten along the way by Derrick Lewis. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, he might be the PFL champ. Yeah, he might have been the former UFC champ. There's a goddamn f***in interim champion, okay?"

He added:

"If you didn't want to fight him, you should have said at the time to Dana [White], to Hunter [Campbell]. Don't do an interim belt. Do not do an interim belt because I won't fight him."
