Jones recently marked his attendance at UFC Vegas 100, which took place this past Saturday at the promotion's Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Fight Night event was headlined by a welterweight showdown between Neil Magny and Carlos Prates, where Prates made short work of his opponent and secured a first-round knockout win.

After his victory, Prates met with Jones and took a selfie with the heavyweight champ. Notably, Jones was seen wearing a black-framed pair of 'Fighting Nerds' spectacles. The name refers to an MMA gym established by Caio Borralho and Pablo Sucupira in Sao Paulo. The gym is recognized for its characteristic black-framed glasses, worn by fighters, trainers, and even cornermen.

Jones is set to make his first heavyweight title defense against former champion Stipe Miocic in the main event of UFC 309, which will take place on Nov. 16 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
