KSI appears to be concerned that Dillon Danis may pull out of their scheduled fight in January 2023. Businessman-turned-boxer Joe Fournier claims that he will step in to face 'JJ' next year if Danis is a no-show.

Fournier has a professional boxing record of 9-0-1, with all nine victories coming via knockout. The Englishman was recently interviewed by Fred Talks Fighting, where the journalist asked him if he would be interested in a fight with 'JJ'.

Fournier said the following:

"I'm already lining it up, we're already talking about it. I'm the alternate for this fight. If Dillon Danis pulls out, I'm jumping in. I told him already, I said, 'I don't need to train. Just give me the weight and I'm in.' So hopefully Dillon Danis doesn't show up and I get to beat up KSI. Save Tony the battering."

The British YouTuber's concerns about his opponent's commitment to the fight may stem from his absence from their scheduled press conference earlier this week. Moreover, the inactivity of 'El Jefe' doesn't bode too well for their scheduled matchup.

Danis hasn't competed in MMA since 2019 and will be making his boxing debut should he make it to fight night.

KSI says he came back to boxing to fight Jake Paul

KSI is set to face Dillon Danis in a boxing match at Wembley Arena in January 2023. Whilst 'JJ' is by no means looking past his upcoming opponent, it seems that he has his eyes set firmly on one man - Jake Paul.

The YouTuber's first-ever boxing fight took place in 2019 against Logan Paul, the older brother of 'The Problem Child'. 'JJ' did not return to the ring until August 2022, when he fought two opponents in one night, and KO'd them both.

'JJ' recently revealed that the reason he returned to boxing was to ultimately fight Jake Paul. The YouTuber attended a press conference for his fight with Danis, and said the following:

"That has always been the goal. The goal has always been Jake Paul. It's the reason why I've come back into boxing - to show everyone that Jake Paul is nothing. But it could be Wembley Stadium, it could be any stadium in the UK. It's going to happen, we're negotiating at the moment."
