KSI and Jake Paul have had a long-running feud dating back years, but the British YouTuber has surprisingly picked his rival to beat Tommy Fury should the pair be matched up sometime in the future.

'The Problem Child' continues to prove doubters wrong each and every time he steps into the ring. Despite being criticized for his lack of professional boxer opponents, he is keen to eradicate those critiques. Just six fights into his career, the star is arguably already one of the most talked about fighters in the sport.

While discussing the potential bout with 'TNT', KSI gave his reasoning on why he expects Jake Paul to beat Tommy Fury in a boxing match that is long overdue, insisting it is the internet sensation's dedication that will see him through.

He's quoted by talkSPORT's Michael Benson as saying:

"I hate to say it - Jake would win. I just think Jake is dedicating more time to training compared to Tommy. I think Tommy just does boxing because it's the thing to do in his family, but I don't think he's as dedicated as someone like Tyson."

KSI is also keen on facing Paul at a future date but is pushing himself to get into perfect fighting shape before stepping into the squared circle against the ever-improving 25-year-old.

Last time out, the British YouTuber and rapper put on an impressive display by fighting two men on the same night. During the MF & DAZN X Series 1 event, the Englishman defeated Brandon Scott — better known as Swarmz — and Luis Pineda to signal his long-awaited return to boxing.

Having feuded with Jake Paul in the past, Dillon Danis has finally stepped up and will meet KSI in the ring on January 14. It will be the jiu-jitsu specialist's first combat sports appearance since 2019.

Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury record comparison

The criticism aimed at Jake Paul is arguably fair as the up-and-comer is yet to face an athlete who is dedicated to the sport of boxing, but how does his record compare to Tommy Fury's?

Though both are undefeated, 'TNT' is the man with the most credentials, having fought and beaten some seemingly legit boxers during his time in the ring. Handing a first loss to the now 5-2 Jordan Grant and earning a decision victory over 11-2 Pole Daniel Bocianski are his standout performances to date.

While his record isn't filled with professional boxers, Jake holds an incredible win over MMA legend Anderson Silva in a contest that rightfully earned the youngster some respect.
